SECOND GOLF COURSE, 1980. The Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay–designed Pine Lakes Country Club course, open since 1980, was officially dedicated on August 21, 1981. The 7,074-yard PGA course meanders along the newly built Pine Lakes section of Palm Coast.

LARRY LANE. A golfer, musician, singer, and recording artist, Larry loved Palm Coast.

“PALM COAST IS THE MOST,” 1980. Larry Lane wrote and recorded this song and released it to ICDC for general use in 1981.
